Public route-view servers
The University of Oregon Route Views Project is an excellent source of public information, including its collection of route-view servers and RIB digests. Point pwhois-updatedb at one — and pull no more often than every four hours, to be considerate.
Keeping it honest
Every answer your server gives carries Cache-Date, the time the routing-table cache was last refreshed. Type version on port 43 to see the current cache time, prefix count and peer count of the node that answered.
